completion of a contract with Prodata, a local Microsoft® Great Plains Business Solution Partner to implement Microsoft Great Plains e.Order. This online storefront will allow PDRx customers secured access to their account information, order entry capability and account receivable profiles. “e.Order will extend and enhance our customer service, providing 24 hours of Internet access for PDRx’s customers. We are not looking to replace our customer service programs, but to empower our customers to access information when it’s convenient for them -- it’s technology at its best. In addition, customers will always be able to call PDRx and speak with someone in person,” stated Jack L. McCall, executive vice president of PDRx.

 

PDRx installed Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics – a Microsoft SQL based accounting and inventory management solution – last January. Prodata provided the implementation and technical consulting services, as well as the hardware upgrade and integration. “Implementing e.Order was the next phase for PDRx  since the storefront seamlessly integrates with the core financial SQL database. This will allow PDRx to reduce order fulfillment time and increase order accuracy by eliminating the potential of manual typing mistakes,” states Christy Baker, Prodata’s general manager. PDRx will begin providing access to 1,500 clinical locations the first of July 2001 to electronically submit orders over the Internet that will flow directly into PDRx’s Dynamics SQL database for fulfillment.
